Address: No. 18 Longgu Road, Pukou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province (Laoshan, next to Huachang Longzigu) Beehive Hotel Nanjing
The hotel is located on the site of a former abandoned quarry pit at the Sanhe Quarry and serves as a flagship project for urban ecological restoration in Nanjing, transforming a damaged cliff face into a resort landmark. The design draws inspiration from “Laoshan Honey,” with the beehive as its central theme. Two massive golden beehive towers are embedded in a 100-meter cliff face; two giant stone lions, each over 30 meters tall, are carved into the mountainside to guard the hotel, and a large bee sculpture is placed in the plaza. Bee-inspired elements run throughout the entire architectural design.
