The Qiu Yushan Cultural Figures Memorial Hall is located on Qiu Yushan in Pukou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national third-class museum. The memorial hall centers on the “Four Masters of Jinling”—Lin Sanzhi, Hu Xiaoshi, Gao Ershi, and Xiao Xian—with four separate memorial halls dedicated to these masters of calligraphy and painting. These halls were constructed successively between 1992 and 2006, covering an area of 60 mu with a total floor area of 5,200 square meters. The complex includes the Qiu Yushan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and a cultural plaza, with a green space coverage rate exceeding 90%. It currently houses a collection of 2,978 cultural relics (including sets), 144 of which are classified as precious artifacts.
Each memorial hall features a distinct architectural style: the Lin San-zhi Memorial Hall is modeled after Ming and Qing dynasty gardens; the Hu Xiaoshi Memorial Hall features the courtyard-house style of the Republic of China era; the main exhibition hall of the Gao Ershi Memorial Hall is shaped like a windmill; and the Xiao Xian Memorial Hall is modeled after Han and Tang dynasty architecture and includes a reconstruction of her former residence.
